When you invite someone into your home to carry out plumbing, bathroom, boiler and other gas engineer services it is their duty to act responsibly and safely.
COVID-19 has changed the ways in which we interact with one another and it has also impacted the ways in which I operate. These changes are for both the safety of my clients as well as the safety for myself and my family.
I sanitise my hands before and after entering a property. After an installation I will also wipe down the surfaces touched with an antibacterial spray.
I have face masks and gloves with me at all times and will wear a mask in accordance with the latest guidelines and upon request. I generally ring a doorbell or knock on a door without my mask on. I will then step away from the door and say “hello” from afar. I will then discuss what level of protection you would like and whether or not the property is well ventilated. I might request that windows are open should this be an option.
